I didn't want to whore another person's post so I am posting my question to you here. I noticed your top was black in a pic on the beach you took of your FJ. Did you paint it that way?

no....the TRD was a special edition.....special editions come in a solid color....just like the Trail Teams are special editions too and come in a solid color....
