Towing questions

I'm new here. Does the FJ tow well up to, say, 3500-4000 lb? Is 2WD or 4WD better for towing, or doesn't it make any difference? Is towing okay with a standard transmission? Thanks!

It does tow well, but not sure if the 2wd or 4wd tow better or not. Also standard transmission is better as you are able to shift when you want.

Thanks, Shaggy. I was beginning to think this was a dead web site. I don't have an FJ yet, but am considering one for occasional medium duty towing.
