Default Howdy from Southern Oregon

Hi all!

I traded in my 2010 Jeep JK for a 2007 FJ on January 6, 2012, fulfilling a dream that started back in 2007 when I first caught sight of the FJ Cruiser. Sadly, my job hasn't really allowed me to take the time to get outside and put the FJ through it's paces, but soon, very soon.

The FJ I purchased was modified by previous owners to include: heated seats (something I've become VERY fond of this winter), performance intake/exhaust, a grill guard, and HID off-road lights.

Eventually I'd like to upgrade the tires with some BF Goodrich All-Terrain T/A's, I'm considering a 3" lift, but need some feedback on the benefits before going forward with that, and some general overlanding gear for expeditions into the Oregon Outback.

My FJ is a daily driver and constantly makes me smile! I'm stilll amazed at the improvements over the Jeep, which I hope to really compare with a camping trip to the North Fork of the Smith River (Del Norte County, CA) before the end of April, 2012.

I'd like to connect with any other FJ enthusiasts in/around the Southern Oregon area and perhaps organize some off-road fun days or maybe even a larger trail ride/expedition. Feel free to email me or post replies here.

Thanks!
Jonathan

Thumbs up

hey....rite-on and congrats!! Welcome to the forum...personally i think a 3" lift is a good idea so you can run a little bigger tire without doing anything major to alter your rig but give you some more ground clearance....
