I was able to save about half of them. I estimate the clips costing a few pennies a piece in the volume that Toyota/Scion/Lexus produces them. The dealership nearby charged $1.3 a piece for the blues and $2 a piece for the oranges. Rip off.

Sounds about right. It's like a $13 coke at a ball game.

I'd rather pay $13 for clips than for a coke at the ball game.

I'd also rather pay $600 for mods to my FJ. Is this stable behavior? Forget normal...I've never been accused of being normal.

it's a good thing that "stable" behavior is allowed though.

The definition of "stable" as it relates to modifying an FJ -- I bought rocksliders then I bought Bushwackers. I learn that my rocksliders get in the way of the Bushwackers so now I decide to modify my rocksliders to work with the Bushwackers. By the time I'm done with this dance I'll have paid 3x the original price for my rocksliders...but they'll be one-of-a-kind and bitch'n so it's ok.
