TFR Rear LCA's Installed

These TFR (Two Frogs Racing) rear lower control arms are heavy duty... I purchased them from froggystyle over on the Socal site as he does the manufacturing on these...they are so heavy they may decrease my MPG lol.....you can see the comparison to the OEM's side-by-side....it's a simple install without even needing to remove the wheels....

Those do look great. Could you post information on the costs of them and a detailed play-by-play on installation?

Capt Sensible 11-17-2011 06:39 PM

I don't know the cost, but here is the basic play by play...

1. unbolt the brake line.
2. unbolt one end of the LCA.
3. unbolt the other end of the LCA
4. bolt one end of the new LCA.
5. bolt the other end of the new LCA
6. bolt the brake line back on.
7. repeat steps 1-6 for the other side.

yup....very basic....took less time than throwing the Spidertraxx on...I put the rear of the FJ up on jackstands incase I needed to use the floorjack under the pumkin to raise or lower the rearend in lining up the boltholes but it wasn't necessary....

it was $500 for the set and i threw in a little extra for shipping even tho he didn't ask for it.....

DirtGhost 11-17-2011 09:32 PM
